MARTOR has developed a completely new and innovative cutter range for the food processing industry, cutter bodies made of a new metal detector responding material, identified by their "blue" plastic components.
If one of these MARTOR cutters is accidentally lost during a production run, it will be readily spotted by the metal detection unit of the production line. Better still, and depending on the quality of the metal detection system, even fragments of these MARTOR cutters will not escape undetected, and their "blue" colour adds greatly to the success of the search!
Reliable identification and removal of any such foreign matter not only protects the consumer but also expensive production machines and systems. The use of these MARTOR cutters will certainly help to prevent consumer health, producer image and legal risks otherwise resulting from foreign matter inclusions.
This Plastic Sheet Cutter offers two advantages - a highly simplified blade change routine plus the integrated metal slitter (which is removable) to cut cardboard box adhesive tapes. For trouble free work with thick plastic sheeting, leather, plastic box strappings and even seat belts.
IMPORTANT: Strappings always should be cut with a diagonal stroke!
